The US regional production of Billy Elliot The Musical, which was presented July 8-12, 2015 by Music Theatre Wichita at the Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center, featured a veteran cast.  It was led by a young man who had already brought the title role to life on three continents (Europe, South America and North America).
He is Mitchell Tobin, who had previously played Billy on The North American Tour across the US and Canada, Brazil in South America, on the West End in London and in the US regional productions at the La Mirada and Alex Theatres in California.
Here’s a video which contains rehearsal footage from the show.  It’s done in costume so the production will have looked pretty similar when it opened for real.  Note: The video actually ends at about the 5 minute mark, but continues to run (in blackness) for a few minutes beyond.
