Meet the Hip-Hop to Ballet Billy: Park Ji-hoo
Twelve-year-old Park Ji-hoo (박지후) was originally a hip-hop dancer but has since added strong ballet and street-dance skills to his repertoire. He began taking ballet lessons at the age of four and first became aware of Billy Elliot the Musical during the earlier Korean productions. Ever since then, he has dreamed of playing Billy on stage.
In interviews, Ji-hoo describes his love of dance as something that erases all hardships and brings pure happiness — like “a flame exploding in my chest.” That fire is exactly what he brings to Billy Elliot the Musical Seoul 2026.

This video clip gives a glimpse of Ji-hoo’s raw talent as he rehearses the high-energy “Expressing Yourself” number with Ji Yoon-ho (Michael).
