Alexander Gløtta was 13 years old when he made his debut as Billy in Lillestrøm Folketeater’s production of BETM at Lillestrøm Kultursenter. He is from Rælingen, which is to the south of Lillestrøm.
In May 2020, it was announced that Alexander would be leading the cast of the upcoming production of BETM in Lillestrøm. Around this time Alexander started his dance training for the production ahead of full cast rehearsals beginning in August 2020.
