A production of Billy Elliot The Musical (BETM) will be presented by The Players Theatre, Inc at the Glasshouse Theatre, featuring a 588 seat, tiered state-of-the-art auditorium located in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. The show will run from November 21 to December 14, 2025.
The Players Theatre Inc. has provided theatrical excellence for over 60 years, enabling its community to be involved in all facets of theatre including acting, directing, set design and construction, sound and lighting, makeup and costuming. The company regularly stages 5-6 productions annually, including drama, comedy, musical and pantomimes.
An information session was held at the theatre on Saturday, May 31, 2025, for all interested in participating in the BETM in any way. Audtions for BETM were held at the theatre on June 21, 2025. The cast was announced on June 23, 2025 and leading it will be Sam Moore as Billy.
At the end of September, on the theatre’s Facebook page, it was announced that rehearsals were “in full swing” for BETM. The cast and orchestra took time out to pose for this photo:
