Meet Billy Elliot: Baldvin Alan Thorarensen

Note: Baldvin’s final show as Billy was at the Reykjavik City Theatre, Iceland on 4-Dec-2015.

Baldvin Alan Thorarensen was 13-years-old (D.O.B. = 2-Aug-2001) upon his debut as Billy and is from Hveragerði, which is a village 20 miles east south east of Reykjavík.

Prior to his involvement with Billy Elliot the Musical, Baldvin has performed in a variety of shows with local theatre groups.

Academically, he recently competed in a reading contest, which he won. 

Baldvin has studied Latin dancing for the past five years and has won several competitions in that dance genre.  Three times he has been an Icelandic champion in Latin dancing in his age group.
