Lukas Elliott was 13 years old when he debuted as Billy in CLOC Musical Theatre’s production of BETM at the National Theatre in Melbourne. He has recently begun full-time dance training at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School.
Lukas has also trained in ballet and other dance styles at Glen Iris School of Dance and the Australian Ballet School.
Lukas’s previous onstage experience includes:
- Sylvia (2019), Anna Karenina (2022) & Harlequinade (2022) with the Australian Ballet Company in Melbourne
- Fritz in The Nutcracker at The Arts Centre Melbourne with Australian Conservatoire of Ballet (2022)
Taking on the role of Billy will be the biggest stage role that Lukas has tackled so far.
With his debut performance as Billy on 11-May-2024, Lukas becomes the 357th young actor worldwide to play the role in a professional, regional or community theatre production of the musical.
