Jesus Medrano was 11 years old when he debuted as Billy in the Panama City production of Billy Elliot the Musical, produced by Full House Entertainment.
Jesus is no stranger to the stage. Other shows he has performed in include Matilda, where he played Tommy and Lord of the Flies. This also won’t be his first time in a Full House Entertainment production — in August 2024 he was part of the cast of their production of Anastasia.
Jesus is an accomplished dancer and has appeared on tv in Panama, dancing a duet to accompany a young singer in a televised singing gala.
Playing Billy is a dream come true for Jesus. He says that since the start of his Billy journey he has enjoyed every rehearsal, all the choreography, and every musical note. He can’t wait for performances to start.
And when they do, Jesus will become the 379th young actor worldwide to play the role of Billy in a professional, regional or community theatre production of the musical.
