Andrey Kaverznikov made his debut as Billy in the Barcelona production of BETM. Andrey is from Alicante. His father is originally from Belarus and is a dance teacher. Andrey has been dancing since he was young and has taken part in many competitions.
Andrey first auditioned for the the Spanish production of BETM back in February 2019 when the production was still situated in Madrid. He was then invited to begin training at the Billy School in Madrid from March 2019 onwards, and continued to train there until the show closed in early 2020.
Then when the production moved to Barcelona in 2021, Andrey moved there with the production so that he could continue his training. His first chance to perform on the Teatre Victòria stage came on 12-Oct-2021, when he made his debut in the role of Tall Boy.
Then on 11-Mar-2022, over three years after his first audition, Andrey finally made his debut in the lead role of Billy. He is the eighth Billy in Barcelona and the 322nd young actor worldwide to play the role in a professional, regional or community theatre production of the musical.
