He first began to dance after watching his older brother, who is a dancer too.  Jesús has now been dancing for seven years.

Jesús auditioned for the role of Billy in Córdoba in February 2016, and after initially being turned down at a recall audition in March 2016, he was invited back by the producers to audition again and earned a place at the Billy Elliot School.

He then spent many months training at the Billy Elliot School in Mexico City alongside the other potential Billys and Michaels, and was eventually cast as one of five Mexican Billys in November 2016.

When asked what it feels like when he dances, Jesus replied, “It is like flying, as if I disappeared and was in my world. I feel free and happy. It is fun. I feel myself. “

Jesús debuted as Billy on 12-Feb-2017, becoming the world’s 187th Billy Elliot.
