Meet Billy Elliot: Sotiris Pierrakos

Note: Sotiris’s final show as Billy, at the Pallas Theatre in Athens, was on 9-Jan-2016.

Sotiris Pierrakos, from the community of Maroussi in Athens, debuted professionally as the 113th Billy boy in the world on 21-Oct-2015, which was the night of the official “premiere” or Opening Night of the show there.

Sotiris was 12-years-old (D.O.B. = 18-Jul-2003) when he stepped on the stage of the Pallas Theatre that evening.  It was his professional debut as an actor.

His training in dance has been attained at several private dance schools over the past couple of years and includes Ballet, Modern Dance and Hip Hop.
