BETM was presented by the Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC) from September 28 to October 23, 2016.
OSTC is based in Warwick, Rhode Island, and produces professional plays and musicals in an intimate conveniently located theatre space.  The company also presents performances for young audiences on select Saturday mornings to introduce children to the magic of theatre.  OSTC opened the doors to its state-of-the-art facility in 2012.  At a performance the theatre accommodates 454 patrons in stadium style seating.
Billy Elliot The Musical (BETM) at OSTC follows an impressive list of musicals previously presented at the theatre. That list includes The King & I, Rent, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Damn Yankees and Avenue Q.
A cast of mostly local area talent was led by Matthew Dean, for whom this was his second production as Billy. Matthew hails from Willow Glen, California.
