Si-hun Kim was 12 years old when he debuted as Billy in the third South Korean production of BETM in Seoul.
Si-hun has some previous musical theatre experience, having performed in the musical Phantom in 2018 and in the opera 1945. He has also been a child model.
When Si-hun went to the first BETM audition in February 2020, he had not done ballet before, so throughout the audition and training process his ballet has improved little by little. His favorite dance style is now modern dance. After a year of hard work, the final audition for the role of Billy was in January 2021, after which Si-hun was told that he had been chosen as one of the four Billys.

With his debut performance as Billy on 1-Sep-2021, Si-hun becomes the 306th young actor worldwide to play the role in a professional, regional or community theatre production of the musical.
In the future, Si-hun wants to be a ballet dancer or a musical theatre actor. But most of all, he wants to make his parents proud and repay them for their dedication to him.
