Westin Brown led the cast when he debuted as Billy in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch, Texas. He is a student at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts.
While this was the 12-year-old’s debut on the stage of The Firehouse Theatre, Westin was no stranger to theater-goers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Prior theatrical experience includes a variety of Children’s Theater productions and roles in some major productions in the area:
- Disney’s Alice In Wonderland (2012) at the Casa Mañana Children’s Theatre
- A Wrinkle in Time (2013) Artisan Center Theater
- The Boy From Oz (2014) Uptown Players

- A Year With Frog & Toad (2016) Dallas Children’s Theater

Upon his debut as Billy in the Firehouse Theatre production of BETM, Westin becomes the 156th boy worldwide since 2005 to play the role in a non youth/school production of the musical.
