Woo-jin Chun was 13 years old (D.O.B = 9-Jan-2004) when he debuted as Billy Elliot in the second South Korean production of BETM in Seoul. He is a student at the National Middle School of Traditional Korean Arts.
Woo-jin specialises in tap dancing and before auditioning for BETM he was a member of TIME tap dance company. During the training and rehearsal period for the show he has worked hard to learn all the other skills besides tap that he will need to play Billy, including ballet, acting, singing and acrobatics.

Woo-jin says that he is a little scared to be on the huge stage at the D-Cube Arts Center, but he has a big heart for the show. He says, “I’ll train hard and think of Billy every day to show my best on the stage!”
With his debut as Billy on 30-Nov-2017 Woo-jin becomes the 231st actor worldwide to play the role in a professional, regional or community theatre production of the musical.
