From May 5-14, 2017, the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) will present a regional production of Billy Elliot The Musical (BETM) on the Stage at Island Park.
Since its founding in 1946, the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre has provided a wide range of theatrical experiences to the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area and surrounding rural communities. The Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre is the longest 
running community theatre organization in the Red River Valley Region of Minnesota and North Dakota.
In the 1960’s the building now known as The Stage at Island Park was beginning to take shape, being built in a style similar to the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, with a thrust stage, and three-fourths theatre-in–the round effect. This will present an interesting venue for BETM.
