Cast Information
The Fulton Theatre cast was led by some actors with lots of BETM experience, starting with its Billys:
Jamie Mann (Billy) has the most experience (in terms of the number of different productions of BETM he’s been in) in the lead role of any actor currently working in a production of the show. Prior to the opening of the Fulton Theatre production, Jamie starred as Billy in the regional productions at Florida’s Jupiter Maltz Theatre, at the Company Theatre in Norwell, MA and, most recently, at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH, logging 36 performances in the title role.
Brooks Landegger (Billy) has two prior productions as Billy on his resume. He played the role a total of 13 times in the regional productions at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and at the North Shore Music Theatre.
Other cast members with prior BETM experience include:
(Mrs. Wilkinson) Janet Dickinson is a veteran Mrs. Wilkinson, having played the role in the North American Tour and in regional productions at The North Carolina Theatre, Music Theatre Witchita, the Gateway Playhouse (LI, NY) and the North Shore Music Theatre (MA).
(Mr. Braithwaite) Brian Padgett previously played the role of Mr. Braithwaite in the regional production at the North Shore Music Theatre (MA). Prior to that appearance in BETM, Brian also was a member of the Ensemble in the Maltz Jupiter Theatre production of the show.
(George) Danny Rutigliano was in the Ensemble and was understudy for the role of Big Davey in the Broadway production. He played the role of George in the regional production at the North Shore Music Theatre.
(Ensemble) Patrick Lavallee is one of the most experienced actors in BETM productions in the US. A veteran ensemble player beginning with a stint in the North American Tour and has been in the Ensembles of the regional productions at MUNY, Patchogue Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.
(Ballet Girl Sharon Percy) Vanessa Russo is another very experienced BETM actress having been in the casts of the North American Tour and the regional productions at MUNY and North Shore Music Theatre.
(Ballet Girl Keeley Gibson) Liesl Landegger has previously appeared as Ballet Girl Margaret Gormley in the regional production at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.
