The Reykjavik City Theatre was the site of the Iceland production of Billy Elliot The Musical from 4-Mar-2015 to 13-Feb-2016. The cast featured local actors originally led by three boys rotating performances in the role of Billy: Sölvi Viggósson Dýrfjörð, Baldvin Alan Thorarensen and Hjörtur Viðar Sigurðarson. Upon Baldvin’s departure from the show, a fourth Billy was added: original cast member in the role of Michael – Bjarni Kristbjörnsson.
